Experience Learning, Composing, and Performing – Together

Bands & Ensembles

You want choices? We’ve got them! Marching band in the fall. Pep band in the spring. Concert choir, jazz band, and a wide array of ensembles throughout the year. Whatever your passion, pursue it at NGU.

Compose or Perform (or Both!)

Compose works for public premieres and receive helpful feedback to grow as an artist. Refine your skills and showcase your talents in over 40 performances each year. From chamber and ensemble performances to student and faculty recitals, there’s something for everyone.

Work Studies for Every Level of Experience

Assist ensemble conductors as they prepare for rehearsals. Facilitate guest performances. Even advise younger musicians in their journey. Put your talent to good use for others.

Plenty of Space to Find Your Place

You need time and space to practice. Between Turner Chapel and the Hayes Fine Arts Center, enjoy access to over two dozen spaces designed for you to learn, practice, and perfect your craft.
