Missions/IMB
Prepare to engage the nations with the gospel of Christ, to the glory of God.
God’s Heart. God’s Glory. Your Calling.
God’s call is simple–to see His name glorified among all peoples. But the mission is complex. How do you deepen your understanding of God’s word while elevating your ability to communicate His truth to others–even in different languages, cultures, and contexts?
Start by laying a strong biblical foundation for missions. Engage Old and New Testament research and application. Explore biblical interpretation and Christian theology. Then, develop ministry skills as you experience the practical application of scripture. Spiritual formation, discipleship, and evangelism. Church planting, world religions, and apologetics. It’s biblical wisdom meets ministry ability, at NGU.
The Missions: IMB certificate meets the requirements provided by the International Mission Board of the Southern Baptist Convention for career missionaries.
