Undergraduate Financial Aid

North Greenville University graduates, on average, have less student loan debt than the national average. And, we are committed to helping students invest towards earning a degree from North Greenville University that will equip them for the calling God has placed on their life. North Greenville University annually awards over thirty million dollars in financial aid, with 90% of our students receiving some assistance.

How to Apply

Applying for financial aid at North Greenville University is easy. To begin, submit the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA).

When completing the FAFSA, please enter NGU’s school code 003441.  Please select “LINK TO IRS” when submitting the tax information for both the student and contributor.  This will automatically enter the tax information from the IRS.

For SC Residents- In order to receive the S.C. Tuition Grant, your FAFSA must be received by the U.S. Department of Education no later than August 1 each year.

  • New Students: Once your financial aid offer is complete, you will receive an email. Please set up your MyFinAid account to view your offer and accept your aid.
  • Current Students: Once your financial aid offer is complete, you will receive an email. Login to your MyFinAid account to view your offer and accept or decline your aid.

MyFinAid Portal

North Greenville University students are required to “accept” or “decline” their financial aid offer. Students will use the MyFinAid Portal to view their financial aid information and interact with the NGU Financial Aid Office. Students will also have the ability to change loan amounts through this portal and view/obtain missing documents.

The NGU Financial Aid Office will be notified of your response electronically. Please submit any missing documents that are needed to complete your file. If you have any questions or you experience technical issues, please contact the NGU Financial Aid Office.

General Disclosures

A student must file a free application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) to receive any federal aid.
Federal workstudy will be paid once a month. All other federal aid shall be disbursed once a semester.
