Self and Trustees Halls were completed in 1985 and had a capacity of forty students.

These residence halls were funded by major gifts from former trustees and the Self Foundation in Greenwood, South Carolina. Self and Trustees Halls are located in the center of campus directly behind Howard Hall and adjacent to Horton Tingle Hall.

The rooms in these residence halls are suite-style, with two rooms adjoined by a shared bathroom. These residence halls have a large common area upstairs and laundry facilities downstairs.

Self and Trustees Halls have two room styles: a square room layout that measures 15 x 11 feet and a rectangular room layout that measures 20 x 9 feet. The rooms have regular twin mattresses and have blinds that are 23 inches.

These residence halls have magnetic locks on the exterior doors with prop alarms for the safety of the residents. The rooms come equipped with a sink, two desks, two beds, two closets, and two dressers.
