  • Professional Experience

My experiences include serving in private higher ed advancement since 1986, with varied work in fund-raising, alumni engagement, public relations, and broadcasting. After working at Palm Beach Atlantic College and Shorter College, spent 21 years with Oklahoma Baptist University and nearly six years at Oklahoma City University before moving to NGU in 2018. Has served on the CASE Commission on Communications and Marketing, been program chair for CASE IV District Conference, on the CASE IV board, and an officer with national Baptist public relations and alumni relations organizations.

  • My Story

My plan was to be a sportswriter. The focus changed, but the desire to communicate did not. It rolled into college PR and has grown to conveying the mission, vision, and needs of a Christ-first university. Finding ways to serve and unite people around a common purpose brings me joy. I get to help others invest in students’ lives. That gives unlimited ROI possibilities.
