  • Teaching & Education

You will learn with me when taking courses in American Sign Language.

    Degrees

    • BS, Communication Disorders, Lamar University
    • MS, Lamar University
    • MDiv, Southwestern Baptist Theological Seminary
  • Professional Experience

My experience includes twenty years spent with the International Mission Board working primarily as a church planter among Deaf populations in South America, Central Europe, and parts of Asia.

  • My Story

I have always enjoyed teaching, though the bulk of my instructional experience has focused on teaching the Bible, usually in other countries. Along the way, I’ve had the chance to learn a variety of signed languages, each one unique. Shortly after passing the twenty year mark with the IMB, I had the chance to teach a few classes at North Greenville University. I’ve come to understand why so many professors profess such joy in teaching and interacting with their students. Getting to know the individuals in my classroom and their personal stories makes teaching them that much more fulfilling.
