  • My Story

Since graduating with my doctorate, I have wanted to teach, guide, and mentor students who are interested in health professions. I felt called to teach at a Christian university following my graduate school experience. When I applied to teach at North Greenville I didn’t know what being at a Christian university really meant for my teaching career but I really felt God was steering me in that direction. I love teaching at a Christian university because it allows me to integrate my faith into my teaching seamlessly. When I teach the intricacies of the human body I see the hand of God in every design, in every process. Therefore, I knew that I had the choice to teach at a university where my students would learn more from me than just how the kidney filters or the heart contracts. They would see how God created us in His image. Teaching at North Greenville allows me to teach with excellence because my teaching and faith are integrated. It is my goal to teach students to know and love God and to understand the world He has created through all the different disciplines. I desire to see students as image-bearers of God who grow and learn about their discipline as it was meant to be, with wholeness. That is why I’m happy to be at a place like North Greenville, which remains unapologetically Christ-centered in everything we do

    Favorite Course to Teach:

My favorite course to teach is Advanced Physiology which allows students to explore medical literature on advanced topics in physiology and medicine.
