My Network
As a music educator I have been fortunate to develop wonderful relationships with many personnel directors, fine arts coordinators, principals, and music teachers throughout the school systems of South Carolina.
As a musician and through my activities as a designer I have also established connections with many performers, composers, arrangers, and some of the most creative minds in the arts.

My Story
Growing up and attending church just a few miles from the Tigerville campus, I have been forever aware and connected to the story of North Greenville. At NGU… my grandfather graduated from high school, my parents met and completed associate degrees, I completed my first two years of college, one of my children graduated, and our youngest child is currently enrolled. While continuing my career in public education I began work at NGU as an adjunct instructor in the spring of 2006 and when the opportunity to become a full-time employee presented itself in 2015, it was a “no-brainer.” I love NGU! I love its people, its expectations, what it represents, and what it stands for. Being on this campus daily has made me a better person. But more importantly, NGU has made me a better Christian.
Favorite Course to Teach:
It is not so much a course, but my favorite thing about my role within the music education program is the potential of equipping students to become transformational leaders in public school classrooms. To send them out into the world with a biblical worldview and the pedagogical skills to truly make a difference in the lives of children and young adults is tremendously rewarding.
