My Story
I have always loved history and it was my Grandmother that helped me appreciate history through family stories. She was a North Greenville Academy graduate of 1920!
As I was in college, God blessed me by guiding me into the teaching profession. I began teaching Social Studies in the Middle School, then to the High School level. My most challenging and rewarding experience was AP US history, as these students received college credit for their scores. Early on, I would champion North Greenville as the place to be for these students!
After leaving the public school, God opened the door for me to be here at NGU as the Coordinator for Social Studies Education, as well as a history instructor since 2019.
