Summer registration is now open. NGU will offer a 12-week session May 15–Aug 4, an eight-week session May 15–July 9, and a five-week session from June 19–July 23.

Summer course offerings may be accessed in myNGU or by viewing the course offering link below. If you wish to register for classes, contact the Office of Academic Records.

Students with a GPA of 3.0 or above may enroll in a maximum of 4 courses. Permission from your academic advisor, a College Administrator, and Associate Provost will be required to enroll in more than 4 courses. Students with a GPA below 3.0 may enroll in a maximum of 2 courses. Permission from your academic advisor, a College Administrator, and Associate Provost will be required to enroll in more than 2 courses.

If you started your academic career at NGU and have a desire to finish your degree, apply as a readmitted student. You can also apply as a transient student if you’re currently enrolled at another university.

Greer Campus

Summer course registration is now open for new and returning students for the NGU Online, master’s level, and certificate programs. Courses are being offered in an 8-week Summer term from May 15 – July 9. Summer course offerings can be accessed via your myNGU or by viewing the appropriate links below. Contact academic records with questions or to register.

Summer Costs

You will have the option to apply for the following terms and rates. Minimum of one course required to qualify. Contact Residence Life at residence.life@ngu.edu for further information.

  • Term 0: 05/15 – 08/04 – 12 weeks = $1320
  • Term 1: 05/15 – 07/09 – 8 weeks = $880
  • Term 2: 06/19 – 07/23 – 5 weeks = $550
  • T1/T2: 05/15 – 07/23 – 10 weeks = $1100

Students who wish to purchase meals during the summer terms can sign up for the commuter meal plan directly through Aramark. Meal plan options may be viewed and purchased on our website.

Need books for Summer term? Visit Slingshot. As an NGU student, you already have a Slingshot account. After you register for summer classes, simply login to the Slingshot portal using your myNGU credentials, to view your required course materials. The cost is $35 per credit hour. Textbooks and course materials will be shipped directly to your home. Make sure the address appearing on the Slingshot portal is the correct address you want your items delivered.

Tuition: $490/credit hour

  • Laboratory Fee (science courses): $95.00
  • Registration Fee: $35.00

Summer Financial Aid

  • Federal Financial Aid

    Limited financial aid is available in the summer term. Students must be enrolled in a minimum of 6 credit hours to qualify.

    Summer Pell eligibility is available for those that qualify. A student may also utilize any remaining Direct Student Loan eligibility not used during the 2020-2021 school year.

    If a student does not have any remaining Direct Loan or Pell eligibility, or if their remaining eligibility does not cover their summer costs, we then recommend considering a Private/Alternative Loan and/or a Parent PLUS Loan

  • State Financial Aid

    Qualified residents of South Carolina who met their LIFE, HOPE, or Palmetto Fellows renewal requirements as of the end of the Spring 2021 semester may qualify for a summer disbursement of LIFE or Palmetto Fellows.

Please contact finaid@ngu.edu regarding potential aid eligibility for any of the programs listed above.

Payment Policy

Summer courses will bill at the beginning of the summer term. All students are expected to make payment in full for their semester bill or make the first payment on a monthly payment plan prior to the summer term, May 9.

Payment Options

Online payments may be made on myNGU. We offer a 3-month payment plan during the summer. Contact student.accounts@ngu.edu for more information about the monthly payment plan.
