Master of Business Administration
Occupation: Founder of Scopestack
Jon Scott (ʼ12) founded Scopestack, a unique sales automation tool for the IT Service provider community, which enables engineers to accurately price professional services, reduce time to scope, and allow IT organizations to track and manage professional service engagements. Jon’s education coupled with his experience in the IT Sector has spawned his unique new business venture.
He heard about North Greenville’s program through word-of-mouth in the area. A peer at his work had started the program around the same time and the program’s rigor, alongside its biblical integration, was what Jon was looking for. Jon was also attracted to the combination of venues for learning: both virtual and brick and mortar.
Jon credits his professors, specifically Dr. Tracy Kramer, for the guidance she gave him as a student and an alumnus in his new business venture. “The most important aspect of help came after I graduated. My professors are [still] great advisors and offer me very sound advice,” he said. “This [continued help from professors] is the biggest thing that stuck out to me and one of the biggest reasons I would recommend NGU.”
Though early in its life cycle, ScopeStack is projecting to onboard up to 35 clients by the end of the year with a potential seven-figure revenue stream.
