Carrie Blackaby Camp ’12


Occupation: Content manager for Blackaby Ministries International, writer, speaker

Carrie is the oldest granddaughter of Henry Blackaby, bestselling author of Experiencing God. She accepted Christ as a young child and was baptized at age 10. Ever since then she has been striving to dig deeper in her relationship with Christ and to serve him in all she does.

Carrie earned a BA in English from NGU in 2012, graduating summa cum laude and receiving the Veda B. Sprouse English Award. She went on to earn an MFA in Creative Nonfiction Writing from Converse College and a Master of Theological Studies from Southwestern Baptist Theological Seminary.

She works as the content manager for Blackaby Ministries International, and her writing has appeared in numerous news and literary outlets, including Baptist Press, The Christian Examiner, The California Southern Baptist Convention, We Are Clayton, The Mountain Laurel, The Lowesoft Chronicle, The Higgs Weldon, and The Furious Gazelle.
