Caleb Ruppe ’15

Music Education – Choral

Occupation: General Music and Choral Director at Chesnee Elementary School

Caleb is currently in his sixth year of teaching with Spartanburg School District 2. He is the general music and choral director at Chesnee Elementary School, where he is thrilled to serve a wonderful population of students in his community.

He directs school choirs as well as teaches general music classes. He is also the director of music and media at First Free Will Baptist Church in Inman, SC, where he directs the sanctuary choir, and leads the media and sound teams, along with other staff responsibilities.

In May of 2019, he received his Master of Educational Administration from the University of South Carolina.

His professional goal is to move into administration in the next couple of years and one of his proudest moments as an educator was being named a quarterfinalist for the GRAMMY Music Educator Award in both 2017 and 2018.
