Enlow Named December Commencement Speaker
Tigerville, SC (November 11, 2019) Dr. Ralph E. Enlow, Jr., president of the Association for Biblical Higher Education (ABHE), has been named North Greenville University’s keynote speaker for December commencement to be held on Friday, December 13, 2019 at 6:00 p.m. in Turner Chapel on the school’s Tigerville Campus.
“Dr. Enlow and I serve together at the International Alliance for Christian Educators (IACE), where I have found him to be a constant source of wisdom and encouragement; those qualities will enable him to be a wonderful speaker as we launch more graduates to be transformational leaders for church and society,” said NGU President Dr. Gene C. Fant, Jr.
ABHE is a network of over 150 North American member and affiliate colleges that emphasize deep Bible engagement and spiritual development in community that helps students answer God’s call to live life on mission with Him whether in the marketplace or the ministry. Through an affiliation agreement, ABHE’s network of associate members encompasses more than 800 accredited Association of Christian Schools International member schools and 40 Christian college teacher education programs.
Enlow served 28 years as an educational leader at his alma mater, Columbia International University, culminating in a six-year stint as senior vice president and provost. His extensive involvement in theological higher education includes service as a consultant, institutional self-study director, accreditation team chair, and chair of ABHE’s Commission on Accreditation. A founding member of Global Associates for Transformational Education, he has been involved in international teaching and consulting in over a dozen countries. His service on ministry and non-profit governing boards include The Evangelical Alliance Mission, the International Council for Evangelical Theological Education, and the National Association of Independent Colleges and Universities.
