Committee Plans New Signage to Freshen Up Campus
When students and faculty returned to NGU for the Fall 2018 semester, they were greeted with new, custom-designed signage at the school’s entrances. This signage, located at the three main entrances, is the beginning of a rebranding campaign that will transform the campus.
In the summer of 2018, Vice President for Campus Enhancement Services Mick Daniel assembled a committee to discuss the need for signs that match NGU’s most recent branding initiative. Individuals from many departments were selected, including Erin Wall of the marketing and communications team.
“Much of the signage on campus is outdated and confusing,” said Wall. “Our first priority is to change the signage inside the main buildings on campus.”
Changing the signage includes making new interior plaques, nameplates, and directories as well as exterior signage such as on-campus street signs and outdoor logos. The committee will also address any signage issues at NGU’s Tim Brashier Campus at Greer.
“We don’t have a deadline for completion, but we expect the rebranding to be completed within two years,” said Wall.
