NGU Announces New Vice President for Student Services

Tigerville, SC (February 15, 2019) North Greenville University (NGU) announces the hiring of Rachael Russiaky as vice president for Student Services. This position will oversee a new university division to be referred to as the Office of Students Services, which will include financial aid, student accounts, academic records, and NGUcentral, a newly created one-stop service center.
Russiaky is a seasoned higher education leader specializing in student services, financial aid, student accounts, and academic records. She comes to NGU from Trinity International University in Deerfield IL, where she served for more than a decade, including as associate vice president of student services since 2014.
“Rachael Russiaky is a talented and selfless leader,” says NGU Executive Vice President Rich Grimm. “She is beloved by those she serves and is a natural collaborator. She is a strong systems thinker and knows how to merge core student services into a seamless process. I am confident she will serve the NGU students, faculty, and staff well, and with distinction.”
Russiaky has nearly 16 years of experience working with multiple college campuses, both as an employee and as a consultant. In addition to her work at Trinity, she served as the director of financial aid at Calvary University and as a project manager with Ruffalo Noel Levitz, a company that offers technology-enabled services, software, and consulting for higher education enrollment management. Russiaky has led several key institutional initiatives including the merger of financial aid, student accounts, and academic records, and providing data-driven analysis on the awarding of institutional financial aid to incoming and returning students.
“Rachael Russiaky has been a leader at one of our sister Christian universities and has demonstrated her commitment to service that recognizes the value and dignity of students and their families,” said NGU President Dr. Gene C. Fant, Jr. “The new administrative structure we are launching with her arrival, which has been in the works for a while, will allow us to provide world-class service to assist our community in not only attending the university but also graduating with their degrees.”
Russiaky will assume her new post at NGU on Feb. 18.
