  • My Story

Jesus visited me when I was 12 years old. My father was a Presbyterian pastor who decided to give up his engineering degree for his mission. He took us around the world to teach the word of God. In many areas, our lives were in danger because converting to Christianity was punishable by death. On more than one occasion, we had to go to a small room in a church as the people were throwing stones at the church’s windows. We were deported from many countries because my father was baptizing Muslims and talking to people about eternal life through the blood of Jesus on the cross. Finally, he was executed in Egypt in 1994. That incident caused me to doubt God’s existence as I thought that God was not able to protect my father. Later in my life, I understood that my father’s death was for a good reason, as no one would die for a mission if he did not believe in it himself. This helped me realize that his mission was more valuable than his own life.

During the time of doubt, I was trying to prove that God does not exist through science. I studied biology, geology, astronomy, logic, and research methods to prove that the Bible is not true and God is a myth for the weak people who need to believe in higher powers. I failed in every count in the five disciplines I studied. For example, I visited the Grand Canyon and found the distribution of soil levels and animal fossils, proving that a global flood existed just as the Bible explained it in Genesis. I studied the internal and external validity of the Bible and found that the Bible (even though it is not a historical or scientific book) is true in every historical and scientific fact mentioned. God enlightened my heart through science and philosophy, which helped me believe in Him.

I learned that there is nothing we can do that will get close to God because He is the ultimate perfection. I found that the only way was for God to approach me through Jesus’ blood to bridge the gap that sins have created. I decided that my mission should be to share my knowledge with others about God and Christianity through science, logic, and philosophy from that moment on.
