“For it is my deep desire and my hope so eagerly that I not be put away ashamed at all. But that I live with perfect boldness just as I’ve been trying to do, so His honor may be seen in me….For me to live is Jesus Christ.” Phil 1:19-20
Teaching & Education
You will learn with me when taking courses in Spanish
B.A. Human Services, Carson-Newman College
B.A. Spanish, Carson-Newman College
M.A.T.L. with Spanish emphasis, University of Southern Mississippi
My experience includes sixteen years overseas as a missionary. I have been teaching at the university level since 2010.
I will gladly involve you in my circle that includes:
- Ethnos 360
I lived overseas as a missionary in Chile, Venezuela, and Mexico. I love to travel, visit new countries and cultures, and learn new languages. I am fluent in Warao, a tribal language of Venezuela, as well as Spanish and English. I like to study other languages formally and informally as a hobby.
Favorite Course to Teach:
I enjoy teaching Mission Spanish where students learn to share their testimony, study Spanish through worship songs and Bible Stories, and increase their vocabulary and ability to communicate their faith. I also really enjoy basic Spanish and the diversity of the student population.
