  • Professional Experience

I have been working in Admissions since August 2015. My roles have included Admissions Counselor, then Senior Admissions Counselor, and now Associate Director for Recruiting. During my career at NGU, I have served as a member of The NGU Spiritual Formation Task Force and The NGU COVID-19 Task Force. I also ran the NGU Admissions Social Media for several years.

  • My Story

I started a new, life-changing adventure when I enrolled at NGU as a freshman in 2011. I was an out-of-state student from Florida. From my first day on campus, I felt accepted and included. It was easy to make friends and get involved! I quickly found that NGU was a top-notch institution where I was challenged academically. It was also this perfect safe haven or retreat for my soul- where I was supported by a caring community and surrounded by the breath-taking nature views of the Blue Ridge Mountains. I majored in Psychology because I knew I wanted to serve people in some way by offering care and guidance during times of transition. Now, I get to do just that, as I train up new Admissions team members and help prospective students as they navigate this exciting and important transition to college.
