  • My Story

    My faith journey and my professional career have developed side by side since I received Christ while attending Carnegie Mellon University. I worked as an actor with a Christian touring company and as a part-time drama minister at my local church while marrying my husband and raising three small children. After they got a little older, I pursued an MFA in Acting from Regent University with the goal of teaching at the University level. I worked as an on-camera talent agent for a year or so while searching for a teaching position, and then God opened up a door at North Greenville. I’ve been so blessed to be able to pursue a variety of artistic outlets while teaching here…acting, directing, writing, choreography…my cup runneth over! My greatest joy comes from helping students discover and develop their God-given passions and gifts, through sharing in the creative nature of God.

    Favorite Course to Teach

    It’s impossible to choose just one, but my Meisner-based Acting II and Acting III classes, along with my Chekhov-based Movement for the Actor class definitely bring me joy. It’s amazing to see the growth and discoveries that happen through allowing vulnerability, seeking truth, and embracing the imagination.
