‘The Last Night of Ballyhoo’
November 10 | 7:30 pm – 9:00 pm

by Alfred Uhry (author of “Driving Miss Daisy”)
The year is 1939 and Hitler is lurking on the front pages of the Atlanta papers. The world premiere of “Gone With the Wind” at the Grand Theatre downtown has the city in a tizzy.
And Boo Levy is worried that if someone doesn’t invite her flighty daughter Lala to Ballyhoo, the biggest dance of the season for young Jewish socialites, the girl will end up an eccentric old maid. This charming family “dramedy” deals with issues of loyalty, prejudice, and faith.
