Doubt, A Parable

September 23 | 7:30 pm 9:30 pm

Free Tickets available to students starting the Monday of that performance in the SOT Box Office. Approximately 120 minutes.

Set in a Catholic school in the Bronx in 1964, Doubt explores the conflict between the school’s principal, Sister Aloysius and the progressive parish priest, Father Flynn.  Sister Aloysius is convinced that Father Flynn is guilty of misconduct with one of the students, and she sets out to pull the young impressionable Sister James over to her side.  By the end of the play, both Sister Aloysius and the audience are left to struggle with the tension between absolute conviction and doubt.
