Frequently Asked Questions
Can my parents come along?
Of course! Parents and siblings are highly encouraged to join us for Distinguished Preview Day!
Will I get to ask questions specific to my major?
Yes, the Information Session will conclude with a Q&A portion. However, Fridays are typically a popular day for students to visit. Due to this, we have created the Distinguished Fridays format, where students meet in a group setting. If you feel you may need more on-on-one time, then a Personal Visit may be a better option for you.
- If we need to stay in the area for a night or two during our visit, where would you recommend?
What should I bring to Distinguished Preview Day?
All you really need to bring is yourself. But feel free to bring along friends and family, and any questions you have.
Does it cost to attend Distinguished Preview Day?
Nope! This event is free, and we’ll even throw in a free T-shirt and treat you to a great meal in the dining hall while you’re on campus, if you’d like.
How long does Distinguished Preview Day usually last?
Each Distinguished Friday event usually lasts for two hours. See our example schedule above for more details.
If I can’t make it to Distinguished Fridays, what are my other options for visiting the NGU campus?
We offer several other options for visiting NGU: Overnight at NGU, Distinguished Preview Day, and even Personal Visits. If you find you can’t make it to one of our regularly scheduled Admissions events, then please set up a personalized visit by contacting our Guest Relations Coordinator, Kelly King at firstname.lastname@example.org or at 864-977-7001.
