Always Epic—Now Enriched
Honors Program

Challenges. Friends. Hoopla.
The thrill of the chase—the late nights turning pages, scribbling notes. The click of the keys. The blink of the eye when all the information falls into a pattern and you understand. This is scholarship. This is the challenge you seek.
Find your best challenge at NGU, in honors seminars, classes, and enriched courses. Find your best self in the honors social experience. Make the most of every semester with an overload allowance that lets you add an extra course.
How Do I Apply for Honors?
You don’t. Admission to the Honors Program is by invitation only. When you apply to NGU, we review your academic records and decide on your Honors invitation.
However, if you have questions, it’s OK to ask.

Transcript
Those Honors-only seminars and courses? They’re called out on your transcript. So, when you apply to graduate school or that big opportunity, they’ll see it. Just a little spotlight on your major achievements.
-
Social
Even academic challenges are better with friends. Outside classes, Honors Scholars gather in the fall for a cookout and in the spring for a banquet.

Budget Bonus
When you pay full-time tuition, you’re allowed to register for 12 to 19 credits. When you’re an Honors Scholar, you can take up to 22, for no extra charge. That could get you to graduation a semester sooner, or it allows you to add a minor or extra studies in an area you love.
