Center for Global Engagement

NGU’s Center for Global Engagement exists for one reason—to equip messengers and proclaim the message. You’ll have the opportunity to engage in campus-wide exposure events such as the Global Impact Week, cultural experiences, curated training sessions as well as short-term trips. As you participate in these initiatives and prepare to advance God’s glory at home and around the world, we pray that you grow in each of the Center’s core values:

  • Gospel fluency
  • Cross-cultural competency
  • Servant leadership
  • Ethnic diversity
  • Supportive community

In business, education, fine arts, communication, health care and beyond, turn your heart for the nations into a purposeful profession. That’s your calling, and we’re here to help.

Global Trips

Experience God’s Word come to life. Walk the roads. See the sites. Engage the culture. Elevate your vision for the nations where it all began.

Service Projects

The best way to learn is to do. Combine your heart for the nations and your in-class studies with real-world, cross-cultural, service-oriented work through short-term trips.

Global Impact Week

Every year, NGU hosts a variety of cross-cultural workers and organizations at the annual Global Impact Week. Explore current opportunities to advance God’s kingdom around the world. Hear personal testimonies and reports from cross-cultural workers. Engage in mulitple activities throughout the week that highlight culture, prayer, worship, and the Great Commission. Learn more about this year’s special events.
